Â
After trailing 18-13, Marshall battled back behind service aces from Geer and Ciccarelli, then staved off three set points. Reilly's kill sealed a 26-24 victory to force a fifth set.

Marshall jumped ahead 7-2, but Eastern Kentucky answered with a late 6-1 run to hold off The Herd's comeback with a 15-13 win in the deciding set.
