Jarvis, Herd look to defend titles at Guyan Country Club
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Men's Golf is ready to defend its championship as the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational gets started on Monday at Guyan Country Club.
In addition to the Herd looking to defend its team title, Marshall senior Cameron Jarvis also looks to earn his second-straight win in the tournament after taking medalist honors in 2024.
"I am really excited to see the guys compete the next couple of days," Marshall Men's Golf coach Matt Grobe said. "Qualifying has been very competitive and the guys are playing solid heading into our first tournament of the year."
Action gets underway at 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday with 36 holes of play set for the first day of the 54-hole event. Tuesday's final round wraps up the tournament with play starting at 8:30 a.m.
Those competing as team members for Marshall include Jarvis, Wes Lorish, Cael Ropietski, Clayton Thomas and Tanner Vest. Players competing as individuals include Jack Minutoli, Jackson Woodburn, Ben Bridges and Sammy Shy.
The tournament will feature 15 teams competing for the 2025 Joe Feaganes Invitational title.
