Marshall Baseball Announces 2026 Promotional Schedule

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University Baseball has made upgrades to its promotional schedule with a list of new themes and giveaways coming to Jack Cook Field this spring.

NEW in 2026: The 1-2-3-4-5 Promo

Every home game, fans can count on five consecutive innings of fun:

1st Inning – Marketing Table Giveaways
Stop by the marketing table for roster cards, exclusive giveaways and the chance to create your own custom game sign.

2nd Inning – Marco's Pizza Strikeout
If a Herd pitcher records a strikeout in the 2nd, fans have a chance to win FREE Marco's Pizza.

3rd Inning – Thundering Beverage + Buddy's BBQ Beer Special
Enjoy a $3 Thundering Beverage beer and a $3 Buddy's BBQ concession item.

4th Inning – Wendy's Frosty Fly Out
If a visiting batter records a fly ball out in the top of the 4th inning, fans will receive a free Frosty courtesy of Wendy's.

5th Inning – In-Game Races
Be on the lookout for the foul pole race, Beat the Flash race and the Ford Bronco RC car race.

Little League Team of the Game

Marshall Baseball is proud to highlight the Little League Team of the Game throughout the 2026 season. Local Little League teams can sign up to be VIP guests at the Jack - leading the Herd onto the field pregame and enjoying a memorable experience together.

Additional Season-long Promotions

Other season-long promotions for the 2026 season include the Playmates Junior PA of the game, where each game a Herd fan under the age of 12 will get the chance to announce the Marshall batters in the bottom of the 6th inning. Signing Saturday and Fun Run Sunday also return, where fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from the team after every Saturday game, and kids can run the bases on the field after every Sunday game (weather permitting).

Season tickets for 2026 are on sale now starting at $125. Fans also have a new option this year with the introduction of a 10-Game Mini Plan, allowing fans to select any 10 home games throughout the season to attend.

The Herd opens its home schedule Feb. 27-Mar. 1 against Butler for Opening Weekend, featuring a 2026 Jersey Magnet giveaway.

March continues with Decades Weekend (Mar. 6–8) against St. Bonaventure, followed by "We Are Herd Strong" Cancer Awareness weekend (Mar. 13-15) for the Sun Belt Conference home opener against Georgia State.

The midweek matchup against WVU on Mar. 24 will be a "Green Out" featuring a pom poms giveaway.

Other March action includes Salute to Service Weekend (Mar. 27–29) against last season's CWS Runner-Up Coastal Carolina, Faculty & Staff Appreciation and Mental Health Awareness Day (Mar. 31 vs. Ohio), and a full promotional weekend Apr. 10-12 against Old Dominion including Masters Day and Autism Awareness Day.

April also features Education Day (Apr. 22 vs. Morehead State) and Alumni Weekend (Apr. 24–26 vs. Troy), including a Marshall Baseball beer stein giveaway.

Little League Weekend (May 8–10) against ULM includes a foam finger giveaway, Kids Club Day and Senior Day recognition. The home finale on May 12 versus Virginia Tech will serve as Fan Appreciation Day.
