2016 (Junior): Appeared in 26 games, all in relief … primarily used as the closer with team-high 11 saves, most since Austin Coan’s Herd-record 12 in 2010 … had a 3-1 record through 43 innings pitched with 34 strikeouts … earned his three wins against UTSA (April 10), Middle Tennessee (April 30) and FIU (May 27) … had a season high five strikeouts at Middle Tennessee (April 30) … tossed a season high 3.1 innings against UAB (May 7) … pitched 4.1 innings through two appearances in the Conference USA Tournament … finished with a 1.88 ERA.
Seminole State: Pitched for the Raiders from 2013-2015.
High School: Attended Auburndale Senior High School from 2010-2013… teammate Kyle Ryan is in the Detroit Tigers’ organization… graduated with honors.
Personal: Born on Oct. 15, 1994 … parents are Burris and Susan Warner, who are his biggest role models for the support they give him to excel on and off the field … hopes to help young athletes grow on and off the baseball field after his playing career … expects to major in business management.
