GP/GS: 5/0 … Was working her way back to lineup after dealing with a nagging injury before remainder of season was canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic … Came in as a pinch runner in five contests and scored three runs … Made first appearance versus Delaware State (Feb. 28) and scored a run in the second inning … Entered to run in the fourth at Hampton (Feb. 28) and scored … Scored third run of the season versus Akron (March 4) in first home game of the year … Also appeared against Howard (Feb. 29) and Bucknell (March 8).
2019 (Freshman)
GP/GS: 6/0 … Back-up catcher appeared in six games during freshman campaign … Made collegiate debut against Presbyterian (Feb. 16) with a pinch hit in the top of the fifth and then stayed in at catcher in the bottom of the inning … Drew a leadoff walk with another pinch hit opportunity in the bottom of the seventh against Towson (Feb. 17) … Also had a pinch hit against Appalachian State (Feb. 24) … Came in at catcher in the third inning at George Mason (March 10) and went 1-for-3 at the plate with her first career hit as an RBI double in the sixth that tied the game and the Herd went on to win the game … Appeared as a pinch runner against No. 13 Kentucky (March 20) … Made final appearance of the season with a pinch hit and time behind the plate at Morehead State (April 30).
High School: Attended Washington High School and played for Amanda Orkoskey … Finished her prep career as the school’s all-time leader in career RBI (73), doubles (28), triples (12) and home runs (7) … Set school single-season records for doubles (12) and triples (5) … Hit .429 during senior season … Five-time All-EPAC (Eastern Panhandle Athletic Conference) honoree with four first team selection (2014, 2016-18) and one second team (2015) … Named All-State Class AAA second team in 2017 and 2018 … Received All-Area honors in 2017 … Named Athlete of the Week by Gold’s Gym in April of 2017 and April of 2018 … Honored on the Journal All-Area team in 2018 … HS won the Bub Riggleman Memorial Tournament in 2017.
