2018 (r-Senior): Appeared in 12 games as a closing pitcher, recording a team-high three saves ... recorded 16 strikeouts in just 12.2 innings ... Recorded saves at Middle Tennessee, WKU, and FIU ... Sesason-high three strikeouts and two innings pitched against Middle Tennessee and WVU ... Allowed no runs in 5 appearances.
2017 (r-Junior): Became the first pitcher to lead Marshall in wins and saves since 2005 … finished a 6-5 record in 24 relief appearances … tied for seventh in Conference USA with five saves … pitched a team-high 38.1 innings in relief with a 5.40 ERA … allowed 23 earned runs on 41 hits and recorded 34 strikeouts ... had at least one strikeout in 16 games, including a season-high five against Niagara (March 10) and FIU (April 22) … ranked fifth in Conference USA games only for games finished (8), appearances (13) and games in relief (13).
2016 (r-Junior): No game appearances due to injury.
2015 (r-Sophomore): Appeared in 41 games, starting 40 … was primarily a catcher for the Herd … had a .164 batting average with 22 hits and 14 RBIs … recorded five games with at least two hits, which all came against Conference USA opponents (UTSA, Florida Atlantic, Old Dominion, FIU and Louisiana Tech) … had five games of two RBIs … finished the season with 245 putouts, 38 assists, 11 runs and had two home runs.
2014 (r-Freshman): Appeared in 45 games this season as catcher, starting 41...named to Johnny Bench Award Watch List... third in C-USA with 17 caught stealing...led Herd with nine doubles this season, including hitting back-to-back doubles in a 2-for-5 performance against LA Tech on 5/04...tied for fourth with 18 runs...recorded 32 hits with 13 RBI.
Clemson University: Played in six games for the Tigers where he boasted a .500 batting average and two RBI until being sidelined with an injury in 2013... Maintained a 3.7 (President's List) GPA
High School: Attended Harmony Intermediate in 9th grade, Loudoun Valley High School in 10th, and spent his junior and senior year at Woodgrove High School...Lettered all four years in baseball. Was a 2nd team All-District selection for the outfield in 9th, All-District 1st team and 2nd team All-Region as a catcher in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade... Selected as an All-American in 2010 and 2011 and awarded Atlantic Rawlings All-American All-Region 2nd team honors during his senior year...also lettered two years in football
