  • Appeared in one game before missing the remainder of the season due to injury


2022 (Sophomore) 

  • Appeared in 17 games out of the bullpen in 2022. 
  • Struck out 25 batters across 20.1 innings pitched and allowed 19 earned runs with a 2-1 record.  
  • Baird started his season with two scoreless outings in Port Charlotte, FL, with one each against Marshall on February 18 and Indiana State on February 20.  
  • Pitched two innings of scoreless relief at Cincinnati on March 3. 
  • In tough spots against Pitt on March 5 and West Virginia on March 11, Baird came in and closed the innings without allowing a run.  
  • Struck out four batters in a scoreless outing against Wright State on March 22, and three batters in another scoreless appearance against Toledo on March 30.  
  • In the extra-inning win over Youngstown State on April 5, Baird pitched two scoreless innings while striking out two.  
  • Picked up the win at Northwestern on May 8, tallying two strikeouts and allowing one run.
