Saw minutes in 18 games as a freshman making two starts....played ten minutes notching a rebound in debut at Appalachian State....grabbed two boards, tied for career best, against Tennessee State....also grabbed two rebounds in home game against UCF....first points of career came on 1-3 performance against Houston Baptist....hit only shot attempt, a three-pointer, win over UNC Asheville....set career mark with seven tallies in home game against UCF, hit 5-of-8 free throws, both personal bests....also played a season high 22 minutes against the Knights....connected on second trey of the season in road win over UAB, helping to end a six-game losing streak.
Prior to Marshall:
Attended Shelby County (Ky.) High School where she played for coach Sally Zimmerman...made the All-Region and All-District Teams in all four years of high school...received All-State Honorable Mention honors in her junior year...named to the 2008 Kentucky Girls All Star team...played for three All-Star teams inlcuding East vs. West Kentucky All Stars, Kentucky-Indiana All Star team and the Kentucky-Ohio All Star team...honors at Shelby County High School included Offensive Player of the Year as a senior, Defensive Player of the year as a junior, the Most Assit Award and Principles Award...was a member of three summer league teams; the Central Kentucky Angels AAU team, Shelby AAU United (2002-03) and Blue Chip Exposure Team (2007)...played for coaches Donna Murphy and Bruce Coles in AAU...played on the Jim Underwood Blue-Chip All-Star Team...was named to the Farmers Bank Snowball Classic 2006 All-Tournament Team and the 30th District All-Tournament Team...was rated as the top player on the 8th Region Team.
