SENIOR SEASON (2013): Finished Marshall career with 35 starts (guard and tackle); played 41 games...One of the main cogs in Herd offense that averaged more than 500 yards per game for a second straight season...In 2013, was voted All-Conference USA second team by league coaches...Started first six games at right tackle before moving to left tackle for the final eight games, protecting star quarterback Rakeem Cato[apos]s back side...Was selected as a game captain twice by Marshall coaches...Known for his combination of strength and athleticism, ranked third among the Herd in weightlifting total points (bench, squat, power clean) in summer of 2013...Played 1,007 snaps in 2013, second among Herd linemen to C Chris Jasperse (1,067). Graded at 99 percent (assignments) and 82 percent (success)... Had 56 knockdowns (second on the team) and allowed only one-half sack in 14 games, the team low among regulars on the offensive line...Called for only four penalties in 14 games.
JUNIOR SEASON (2012): Appeared in 10 games (missed Western Carolina and Ohio).
SOPHOMORE SEASON (2011): Was a starter at left guard for the Herd throughout the season.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2010): Forced into duty due to injuries in front of him...Appeared in four games.
PRIOR TO MARSHALL: A three-year starter on the offensive line for Coffee County and head coach Ken Eldridge...Graded out at 81% for his career and earned all-region honors as a junior and a senior...A three-sport athlete (football, basketball and track)...Also recruited by UAB, Troy, Jacksonville State, Arkansas State and Western Kentucky.
PERSONAL: Graduated May 2014 ... Parents are Rev. Randolph and Tina Scott... Born Nov. 14, 1991 (the 19th anniversary of the Marshall FB team plane crash that took 75 lives).
