PRIOR TO MARSHALL: Born Dec. 11, 1994 … Majoring in Finance and Economics at MU … Committed in April 2012, choosing Herd over Bowling Green, Ohio, Toledo and Western Kentucky … With the help of Collins’ blocking, Trotwood-Madison High gained 5,200 total yards (1,678 passing and 3,522 rushing) in 2012, and finished with a championship-game loss in the Ohio Division II playoffs and a 12-3 record … Played as a junior for Kettering Alter High … Made official visit for Herd’s home loss to Ohio in 2012 and was impressed with the large crowd (33,436) at Edwards Stadium.
