2022-23 (Junior): Competed in four meets in the high jump ... Top mark of the season set at the Marshall Invitational with a 1.48 meter jump
2021-22 (Sophomore): Competed in three meets in the high jump...top mark of the season was set at Marshall Opener with a second place finish, jumping 1.45 meters (4 feet, nine inches)
2020-21 (Freshman): Competed in three meets in the high jump … her top mark of 1.53 meters (5 feet, 0.25 inches) was set at the Thundering Herd Invitational in a 6th place finish … named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
Prior to Marshall: Hughes joins the program focusing on the high jump … she enters with a personal best of 5 ft. in the event, and is a two-time WVSSAC AA State Meet qualifier … she additionally competed in her school’s state-qualifying shuttle-hurdle relay squad at the 2019 State Meet.
