Baseball Announces Dates for Second Annual Marshall Hitting League

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. ? Thundering Herd head baseball coach Dave Piepenbrink has announced the dates for the second annual Marshall University Baseball Hitting League, sponsored by BWP Bats.
The hitting instructional sessions are scheduled for each Sunday from Oct. 27 through Dec. 8, 2002, and are for players ages 8-12 and 13-18. Each session will last approximately one hour with four different times available for scheduling each Sunday. These times are 4:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7:30 p.m.
Instruction will be given by the Marshall baseball coaches in the auxiliary gym at the Cam Henderson Center. The cost is $100, and includes an awards ceremony with pizza and the opportunity to meet this season?s Herd baseball team.
