Women’s Soccer Heads to Florida for Matchup with Owls

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University women's soccer team (3-8-2, 0-4-1 C-USA) looks to get back into the win column on Friday as it heads to the Sunshine State to face the Florida Atlantic Owls (4-5-4, 2-1-2 C-USA). First kick is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Boca Raton, Fla.

HAVE YOU HEARD
Marshall fell 3-0 to Old Dominion last Friday at Hoops Family Field in Huntington.
Senior forward Kat Gonzalez fired five shots, including two on target, in the loss. Both were team highs in the contest.
Freshman goalkeeper Mira Pastoft made five saves in the match.
Meg Jarvis has a team-high five goals this season, tied for fourth most in C-USA, as Gonzalez has contributed three scoring efforts.
Junior forward Morgan White leads the Green and White with two assists.
SCOUTING FAU
The Owls are coming off a 1-0 win at UTEP on October 9. Of the team's five losses this season, only one has been by more than one goal.
Bri Austin and Miracle Porter have each contributed a team-best three goals this season. Austin also leads her side with 36 shots, 18 shots on goal and eight points, while being in second with two assists behind Hunter Koziara's three helpers.
Amit Cohen has played every minute in goal this season making 54 saves and producing three clean sheets.
