Baseball Hosts FIU for Four-Game Series

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University baseball team (4-20, 0-12 C-USA) hosts the FIU Panthers (12-19, 4-8 C-USA) for a four-game series at the Kennedy Center beginning on Friday at 3 p.m.

The Panthers have a 12-19 record this season and are 4-8 in Conference USA action. It won three of four games against Western Kentucky and took a contest over Old Dominion for the four conference wins.

Adrian Figueroa leads FIU with 36 hits, 20 RBI, tied for the lead in doubles at eight with Luis Chavez and among qualifying hitters leads with a .330 batting average.

Justin Farmer has four homers this season, the most on the Panthers, and is second in RBI with 19.

Steven Ondina has three triples this season to lead the team.
