HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall women's soccer (0-2-0) heads north to Athens, Ohio, to take on the Ohio Bobcats (1-0-0) on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m.

HAVE YOU HEARD
The Herd fell to SEC foe Kentucky on Sunday 3-0.
Freshman midfielder Kayla Denney had a team-high two shots in the contest, both of which were on goal.
Senior forward Kat Gonzalez, junior midfielder Iselin Noevik and freshman defender Olivia Delikat each added a shot on target.
Junior goalkeeper Courtney McVicker made eight saves in her second straight contest.
Freshman goalkeeper Mira Pastoft made her Marshall debut in goal as she came on for McVicker for the final nine minutes and made a save.
SCOUTING OHIO
The Bobcats are led by eighth-year head coach Aaron Rodgers as the team went 3-7-0 during the 2020-21 campaign.
Ohio defeated VMI 1-0 in its season-opener on August 19 in Lexington, Va. Shae Robertson scored the lone goal in the win.
The Bobcats return Abby Townsend, who tied for the team lead in goals last season (2), led the team in shots (16) and was a First Team All-MAC selection in 2019, and Morgan Collica, who finished First Team All-MAC last season.

Marshall trails in the all-time series 3-12-2 with the last meeting coming in Huntington in 2019.
