HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall women's soccer (0-3-1) is set for its fourth consecutive road match on Thursday afternoon as it prepares for a contest in Youngstown, Ohio, against the Youngstown State Penguins (0-3-0) at 5 p.m.

HAVE YOU HEARD
The Herd had its last contest on Sunday at Morehead State halted in the 75th minute in a 1-1 tie due to excessive lightning.
Freshman forward Meg Jarvis tied the game in the 29th minute on a cross from junior forward Morgan White after the Eagles tallied the first goal of the game on a penalty kick in the 12th minute.
Jarvis, White, senior forward Kat Gonzalez and freshman defender/midfielder Ava Hall each recorded a team-high two shots in the contest with both of White's and Hall's attempts going on target.
Freshman goalkeeper Mira Pastoft made her first collegiate start in the draw, making one save.
Jarvis leads MU with seven shots this season, with three of those attempts on target.
SCOUTING YSU
Youngstown State was tabbed to finish eighth in the Horizon League this season after finishing last year with a 1-7-1 record.
This year's squad returns eight starters and 22 players from last season, which includes six of its seven goal scorers and looks to replace Marcella Sizer's team-high three goals during the previous campaign.
Chloe Casello has scored the lone goal this season for the Penguins in their first three matches.
SERIES HISTORY
This will be the fourth matchup between the two programs with Marshall holding a 2-0-1 advantage in the series. The Herd took the last matchup in 2019, 3-0.
