HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University women's soccer team (3-6-1, 0-2-0 C-USA) gets back on the pitch on Friday as it plays host to FIU (1-8-1, 0-1-1) at Hoops Family Field. First kick is scheduled for 7 p.m.

HAVE YOU HEARD
The Herd dropped a road contest at Southern Miss on Sunday, 4-2.
Freshman forward Meg Jarvis netted her team-high fifth goal of the season on a penalty kick.
Freshman forward Cami Wolf netted her first collegiate goal on an assist by freshman forward Hannah Hartel, her first helper of the season.
Freshman goalkeeper Mira Pastoft had seven saves in the defeat.
Senior forward Kat Gonzalez leads MU with 28 shots, 13 shots on goal, while ranking second with seven points and three goals.
SCOUTING FIU
The Panthers are 1-8-1 this season with their lone win coming in their season opener on Aug. 19 against Stetson and are coming off a tie at Florida Atlantic.
FIU has seven different goal scorers this season with Noemi Paquin leading with three.
Sydney Amparo leads her side 25 shots, 18 on target and three assists.
