Last call for 20 Thundering Herd seniors
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall hosts the Georgia State Panthers Saturday at noon from Joan C. Edwards Stadium. 20 Marshall seniors will be honored before the game.

Senior Day
The Marshall University football team will honor 20 players making their final appearance for the Thundering Herd. The seniors will be honored in a pregame ceremony. The list of players honored are:
Zach Appio, Damion Barber, Jace Bobo, Joshua Bowers, Esaias Carpenter, Henry Colombi, Charlie Gray, J.T. Dukes, Jacob Kirkendoll, Khalan Laborn, Stacey Marshall Jr., Devin Miller, Isaiah Norman, Cedrice Paillant, Stone Scarcelle, Anthony Watts, Micah Abraham, Steven Faucheux, and Owen Porter.
PRE-GAME NOTES
Marshall became bowl eligible following a 23-10 road victory at Georgia Southern. The Herd finished 4-2 in true road games in 2022. Marshall enters Saturday's regular season finale with a 4-3 record in Sun Belt play.
Marshall sophomore running back Rasheen Ali returned to the lineup against the Eagles, rushing for 79 yards.
The Thundering Herd defense is first in the nation on opponents' third-down conversion rate (21.4%).

ABOUT GEORGIA STATE
Shawn Elliot wraps up his seventh season in charge of the Georgia State Panthers. The Panthers are 4-7 and 3-4 in Sun Belt play in 2022.
Redshirt-senior quarterback Darren Grainger is the team's leading passer and rusher. Grainger has rushed for 718 yards and scored six touchdowns with his legs. The Conway, South Carolina native has also thrown 2,140 yards with 17 touchdown passes.
Senior cornerback Quavian White leads the GSU defense with four interceptions. The Georgia State defense has 25 takeaways in 2022.
