Â
In the top of the ninth, Drew Steelhammer drew a walk in a 10-pitch at-bat and Sankovich walked after seeing eight pitches. Edwards then loaded the bases with a single to center, his third of the contest, with two outs. Williams drew the third free pass of the inning and scored Steelhammer to cut Herd's deficit to 6-2.
