SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Marshall's track and field team put up 63 team points this week at the 2022 Conference USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, tying the program's all-time league mark (2013).

The meet was held at the Park West Athletics Complex in San Antonio, where the Herd finished seventh in the team standings.

The Thundering Herd posted two school records on Sunday, first by Mikah Alleyne's silver medal performance in the 400 meters with a time of 53.23 seconds. The second was by Ashonti Warner in the 400 Hurdles when she picked up another silver by clocking in at 58.04 seconds.

Marshall's third silver came in the 4 x 400 meter relay when the quartet of Warner, Erica Murphy, Alleyne and Jillian King posted a time of 3:42.12.

Warner also got on the medal stand in the 100 Hurdles, where she picked up the bronze by virtue of her 13.68 second performance. Teammate Tyra Thomas finished sixth (13.77) and also registered three team points.

The Herd's Dianna Goodman contributed four team points (fifth place) with a lifetime-time best 3.98-meter effort in the pole vault.

Abby Herring took sixth in the 1500 meters (4:30.34) and pitched in three team points, as well.
