Women’s Golf Heads To Butler Fall Invitational

Marshall one of 16 teams competing in Indianapolis this week
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Marshall's Women's Golf team is headed to Indianapolis this week to start play in the Butler Fall Invitational.
The Butler Fall Invitational is a 54-hole event that features 16 teams who will tee it up at Highland Country Club.
"We are excited to get back out there and build off our first tournament of the year," Marshall Women's Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. "We had a great finish and some time to practice. Now, we hope to see that practice pay off this week in Indianapolis."
Monday's action features 36 holes of continuous play, which gets underway with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
Tuesday's final round also is a 9 a.m. start for the last 18 holes that will decide a champion.
Marshall's contingent for the tournament includes Olivia Kochan, Emily McLatchey, Abbey Bull, Kasey McIlvaine and Madison Borders.
This will be Marshall's second tournament of the Fall season. The Thundering Herd placed 2nd in the Jennifer Duke Invitational to open the year.
