Herd Cross Country Teams Prepare for First Trip to Texas A&M

Men’s 8K at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Friday; Women’s 6K at 10:15 a.m.
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – For the first time in program history, the Marshall cross country teams will travel to College Station, Texas, for the 2023 Arturo Barrios Invitational.
In the final race before the Sun Belt Championships, Friday's meet will provide the Herd an opportunity to see SBC competition. Of the 42 teams scheduled to compete, Arkansas State and Louisiana will also be at the Arturo Barrios Invitational.
The Men's 8K will be at 9:30 a.m. eastern on Friday, (8:30 local time) and the Women's 6K will follow at 10:15 a.m. eastern (9:15 local time).
"We are excited to go down to Texas A&M and compete against some of the best in the country," Head Coach Caleb Bowen said. "It looks like a great course and great competition!"
