PRE-MATCH NOTES
- The Herd's 12-match win streak came to an end in its first loss of the season at WVU on Wednesday.
- Matthew Bell is having quite the sophomore campaign. The Kingston, Jamaica, native is fifth in the country at 25 points (9 assists and 8 goals) to be tied for the SBC lead after scoring his eighth goal of the season at WVU. Bell's nine assists are tied for third most in the country and two away from breaking the program's single-season record of 10, last done by Jamil Roberts in 2019. In his career he's averaging a goal contribution a match with 18 goals and 13 assists in 31 games played.
- The Herd leads the country in goal differential (30), points per game (9.38), scoring offense (3.08), total goals (40) and total points (122).
ABOUT THE WILDCATS
- Kentucky has record draws in its last four matches Indiana, Coastal Carolina, James Madison and Georgia State.
- UK was voted the conference favorites in the SBC Preseason Coaches Pool.
- Isaiah Chisholm and Logan Dorsey have each tallied three goals this season.
