Herd Women’s Golf Heads To FBCI Invitational

ARDEN, N.C. – Marshall's Women's Golf team looks to end its Fall 2023 season in strong fashion as it heads to The Cliffs at Walnut Cove for the French Broad Collegiate Invitational, hosted by UNC-Asheville.

Marshall will be one of 10 teams competing for the tournament title in the 54-hole event, which starts on Monday.

"We are excited to tee it up again in Asheville at a beautiful course," Marshall Women's Golf coach Brooke Burkhammer said. "It's the last tournament of the fall season and we're looking to end on a high note with a strong finish."

The tournament will tee off at 9 a.m. on Monday with the first 36 holes of action taking place on day one. Tuesday's final round will tee off at 9:30 a.m. and will run until the tournament's conclusion.

Marshall will be represented in the tournament Kasey McIlvaine, Olivia Kochan, Emily McLatchey, Abbey Bull and Hanna Shrout.
