Herd Track and Field Enters Sun Belt Indoor Championship with Lofty Goals

Two-day event begins in Birmingham Monday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — The Marshall track and field teams compete in the Sun Belt Indoor Championship starting on Monday, Feb. 20 from the Birmingham Crossplex in Alabama.

"We're super excited to compete in our first Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championship," Marshall head coach Jeff Small said. "I think both teams are as prepared as they can be, the women have an excellent opportunity to finish very high, and the men are going to give their best shot in this new experience!"

25 events will open the competition on Monday, with 25 more events to take place on Tuesday.
