Herd Baseball Heads to Texas State for Three-Game Series

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University baseball team (14-16, 4-8 Sun Belt) heads south to the Lone Star State for a three-game series against the Texas State Bobcats (21-13, 6-6 Sun Belt) in San Marcos, Texas.

The Bobcats split a pair of midweek games against the 19th-ranked Texas Longhorns this week.

Texas State has 58 home runs this season, fourth most in the conference.

Friday's scheduled starter has a 5-1 record in seven starts with 45 strikeouts and a 4.89 ERA.
