PRE-MATCH NOTES
- Marshall's Alexis Wolgemuth was named the Sun Belt Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks Tuesday. Wolgemuth leads the league with 24 saves.
- The Herd saw three new goalscorers in Makai Laguines, Demari Curry and Cassidy Bell in the team's 3-0 victory over Gardner-Webb Sunday.
- The Herd is in the midst of a five-match homestand which will conclude with the Conference opener on September 17 against ULM.

ABOUT THE REDHAWKS
- Through five matches, while Miami has struggled to score, the RedHawks have also been difficult to score on. After being blanked the first three games, Miami won a decisive pair of 1-0 results.
- The RedHawks are led by goalkeeper Domonique Popa, who has made 18 saves on 48 shots faced. Popa held Indiana State goalless when the two sides met last month.
- Miami were ranked fifth in the MAC Preseason Poll. For perspective, the OU Bobcats were picked seventh.
