HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Volleyball team (13-14, 4-10 SBC) closes out the regular season with a pair of home matches against the Southern Miss Golden Eagles (9-17, 5-9 SBC) Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. in the Cam Henderson Center.

SENIOR DAY
The Herd will honor five seniors, Brynn Brown, Olivia Fogo, Bria Samilton, Sarah Stratton and Megan Taylor, in a ceremony on Friday for their contributions to the program.

- The Herd fell in a pair of matches at App State last weekend.
- Beatrice Ciccarelli ranks fifth in the SBC in total blocks with 102 and sixth at 1.10 blocks per set during the year.
- Brynn Brown leads the team with 620 assists this season while ranking seventh in the nation with four triple-doubles.
SCOUTING SOUTHERN MISS
- The Golden Eagles enter the weekend on a four-match losing streak falling in a pair of matches at Texas State and a pair of contests at home to Troy.
- Southern Miss ranks 16th in the nation and second in the SBC with 17.17 digs per set and leads the conference with 1,717 total digs, 22nd most in the country.
- Torey Tkach sits 16th in the country with 130 blocks as Sunni Sheppard ranks 11th with 511 digs, both marks lead the conference.
