Marshall Track and Field Returns to Louisville for Bellarmine Classic

Herd to compete Friday at Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — For the second-consecutive weekend, Marshall's track and field program will travel west on I-64 to Louisville. Friday's meet will be the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic.
The Bellarmine Classic will be a single-day event, with throwing and running events beginning at 10 a.m.

"Our team showed some great signs of improvement last week," Director of Track and Field Keith Roberts said. "I truly believe we are clicking at the right time. We have some more areas that we need to sharpen up but we are ready for some big breakthroughs."
"We challenged the team to prove who is ready for the championship meet in Birmingham in a couple weeks. We can't wait to compete and continue improving. We had a great week of practice so we just need to translate that into meet day. I expect the same intensity in this meet as last meet."
