Merritt Finishes Top-10 in Women’s Hammer Throw Saturday

Relays Close Saturday from NC State
RALEIGH, N.C. – Marshall graduate senior Rebecca Merritt finished 9th in the Hammer Throw at the Raleigh Relays Saturday at NC State. Her current mark would score at the Sun Belt Conference meet.
For the men, junior Kazuma Bowring finished with a time of 1:53.61 in the 800. His time is a new personal-best and would be within a second of the top SBC mark
Other season and personal bests included Josie Moore and Markayla Moore in the hammer.
