HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Baseball team (3-8) is set to host the Bellarmine Knights (1-10) in a midweek matchup on Wednesday evening at Jack Cook Field.

PRE-GAME NOTES

Marshall is coming off a series win over the Manhattan Jaspers during the inaugural weekend at Jack Cook Field with a 3-0 shutout on Friday and a 3-2 triumph on Sunday.
Tre Hondras opened the new ballpark with a first-pitch homer in the opener on Friday.
Owen Ayers, Jack Firestone and Hondras each had a pair of RBI in the series.
On opening day, Drew Harlow earned his second win of the season hurling 6.0 scoreless innings with three strikeouts while allowing just three hits and two walks.
In a relief appearance on Saturday, Bryce Blevins threw 7.1 without giving up a run to go with a career-high nine strikeouts. The sophomore lefty allowed just four hits and three walks.

ABOUT THE KNIGHTS

Bellarmine is coming off a weekend that saw it get swept in four games at Samford.
Jake Agarwal leads the Knights with 13 hits and a .419 batting average in nine games.
Matt Flaherty has hit a pair of long balls this season and is tied with Andres Castro at six RBI.
