Catcher Reagan Glanz notches MU career-best three hits
HARRISONBURG, Va. — In a wild game with four lead changes, Marshall (20-19, 6-7) lost to JMU (22-16, 6-7) by an 8-7 score. The Dukes tied the game in the 7th, and walked it off on the Herd's third error of the contest.
Three and four-hole hitters Rielly Lucas and Reagan Glanz paced MU with three hits and three RBI apiece.
Kasia Parks, Brooklyn Ulrich and Destiny Washington also tallied multiple hits in Marshall's 13-hit outing.
The Herd led early on Ulrich's eighth home run of the season in the 1st. A pair of RBI hits from Glanz with a single in the 1st, and her third long ball of the year in the 3rd had the Herd up by three after five.
Following a four-run 5th by the hosts, a two-run hit by Lucas over the first baseman's glove had Marshall back in front in the 6th. But Marshall would later strand two of its costly 10 runners in the one run game.
A hit-by-pitch opened the bottom of the 7th, before a sac bunt and a tying-single put the winning run on 1st with two outs. JMU would walk-off on a dropped ball to left-center.
