HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Baseball team (12-24, 5-10 Sun Belt) returns home for a three-game series against the Old Dominion Monarchs (19-17, 7-8 Sun Belt) at Jack Cook Field beginning Friday.

PRE-GAME NOTES

Cam Harthan recorded his first multi-homer game of his collegiate career on Wednesday at Morehead State. The sophomore leads the team with a .330 batting average.
With 16 doubles, Owen Ayers sits atop the Sun Belt Conference leaderboard. Ayers is eight away from breaking his single-season program record of 23 set last season and is at 39 for his career, 10 away from breaking Victor Gomez' program career record of 48.
Friday's probable starter Drew Harlow leads The Herd with 50 strikeouts and five wins this season.
Bryce Blevins, Saturday's projected starter, leads the SBC with a 1.60 ERA across 56.1 innings in 10 appearances, including six starts. The sophomore has four quality starts this season.

ABOUT THE MONARCHS

Old Dominion is coming off a series win over South Alabama last weekend and a midweek victory over No. 15 Virginia.
The Monarchs lead the conference with 61 stolen bases this season.
Out of the bullpen, Jacob Gomez ranks second in the SBC with six saves.
Steven Maier's 19 stolen bases and Luke Walters' 16 both sit in the top five of the SBC.
