Herd Baseball Continues Season with Midweek Series Against EKU

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Baseball team (13-29) prepares for back-to-back midweek games against the EKU Colonels (12-31). The Herd travels to Richmond, Kentucky, on Tuesday and hosts EKU at Jack Cook Field on Wednesday. Both contests are slated for 6 p.m. starts.

Owen Ayers leads the Sun Belt with 18 doubles on the year, six away from breaking his single-season program record of 23 from last season.
With striking out just once every 11.2 at bats, Cam Harthan is the 36th toughest batter to strikeout in the country and toughest in the SBC.

ABOUT THE COLONELS

EKU was swept in a road series this past weekend at Austin Peay.
The Colonels rank 27th in the nation with 14 three-baggers during the 2024 season.
Conner Davis ranks eighth in the country with five triples.
