Track and Field Hosts Marshall Alumni Classic Saturday

First event starts at 10 a.m. from Chris Cline Indoor Facility
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Marshall track and field begins its busy 2025 by honoring the past with the Marshall Alumni Classic Saturday from the Chris Cline Indoor Facility.
The facility opens at 8 a.m. with throwing events starting at 10. The first running event on the Jeff Small Track will be at 1 p.m.
Alumni of the Thundering Herd cross country and track and field programs will be welcomed to a hospitality room located in the facility.

Marshall started the 2024-25 season before the winter break in dominant fashion. Director of Track and Field Keith Roberts saw the team pick up 18 individual victories while setting three school records.
Saturday's meet will be the first of six regular season indoor meets over the next month in preparation for the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships starting Monday, Feb. 24 from Birmingham, Ala.
