Four-game series to begin Friday
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Baseball team prepares to open the 2025 season with a four-game series beginning Friday at Hawaii. This marks the first meeting between the programs.

PRE-GAME NOTES
- The Herd will start Friday's game with junior Bryce Blevins. The native of Louisa, Kentucky, was named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Preseason Team after being a first-team selection in 2024 after winning four SBC Pitcher of the Week Awards.
- Newcomer Fenix DiGiacomo will start game one of Saturday's doubleheader with Griffin Miller starting game two on Saturday. Sunday is to be determined.
- On the offensive side, Cam Harthan returns for his junior season after leading Marshall with a .325 batting average and 17 stolen bases in 2024.
- One of 24 newcomers is catcher Nolan Wilson. Wilson comes to Huntington after leading Nevada in batting average at .323 with 65 hits finishing second on the team with 50 RBI.
ABOUT THE RAINBOW WARRIORS
- Hawaii enters the season with the longest active home winning streak in the country at 11 games.
- The Rainbow Warriors are 45-17 at home the last two seasons.
- Jordan Donahue, a preseason All-Big West selection, hit .349 in 2024 with two homers, 30 RBIs and 17 doubles. Donahue finished second on the team with a .458 on base percentage and committed just six errors last season at shortstop, finishing with a .967 fielding percentage.
