HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Baseball team (9-6) is set to close out a nine-game homestand on Tuesday and Wednesday against the Central Michigan Chippewas (2-13).

PRE-GAME NOTES
The Herd is on an eight-game winning streak after a three-game sweep of Bradley over the weekend.
Heading into the week, Eddie Leon is on an 11-game hitting streak and has a hit in 13 of the team's 15 games this season.
Tyler Kamerer saw a 12-game reaching safe streak end on Friday, but he's reached safely in 14 of 15 contests with Elijah Vogelsong reaching base safely in 11 straight.
Jackson Halter has also reached base safely in 10 straight games.

Central Michigan enters the week on a nine-game losing streak after getting swept at Liberty this past weekend.
The Chippewas have played their first 15 games of the season to this point on the road.
