CONWAY, S.C. – The Marshall University Baseball team (18-21, 6-11 SBC) dropped game two of its three-game series at No. 21 Coastal Carolina (29-10, 13-4 SBC) 10-0 in seven innings on Friday in Conway, South Carolina.
 
Eddie Leon went 3-for-3 at the plate with a double in the fifth inning against the Chanticleers.
 
Jackson Halter and Cam Harthan each had a single in the contest.
 
On the mound, starting pitcher Griffin Miller threw 4.1 innings giving up three earned runs on seven hits and a walk with two strikeouts.
 
Cameron Flukey threw a complete game for CCU allowing five hits and striking out six in his 7.0 innings of work.
 
Coastal tallied a run in the fourth, five in the fifth and a pair in each of the sixth and seventh frames.

Marshall closes out its series at No. 21 Coastal Carolina on Saturday at 1 p.m.
