HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Baseball (23-22) is set to meet the No. 16 West Virginia Mountaineers (37-5) for the third time this season on Wednesday night at GoMart Ballpark in Charleston, West Virginia.

  • WVU is coming off a weekend sweep of the UCF Knights in Orlando.
  • The Mountaineers rank 10th nationally in ERA with a 3.66 mark as a staff this season.
  • Skylar King leads West Virginia with a .361 batting average and 52 hits as Jace Rinehart has a team-best 43 RBI and is tied for first at seven homers with Logan Sauve.
  • Gavin Van Kempen is scheduled to make his 11th start of the season as he has 33 strikeouts in 36.1 innings.
