HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Baseball team (13-9) welcomes in-state rival No. 17 West Virginia on Tuesday night at Jack Cook Field.

  • The Herd captured its weekend series at Georgia Southern this weekend with wins on Friday and Saturday.

  • West Virginia enters Tuesday on a five-game winning streak after sweeping BYU in Morgantown over the weekend.
  • The Mountaineers pitching staff allows just 6.89 hits per nine innings, 12th fewest in the country, with their offense scoring 9.4 runs per game, 19th most in the nation.
  • Gavin Kelly ranks 13th nationally with 11 doubles and leads the Big 12.
