Was a two-time first team All-West Junior College Athletic Conference and All-Region V selection at Midland College in Texas...As a freshman in 2005, helped lead the Chaparrals to the 2005 WJCAC championship with a 52-14-1 overall record...Batted .339 with one home run and 19 RBI, while adding 10 doubles and three triples...Also garnered second team National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-America honors as a sophomore after batting a team-high .425 with two home runs and 48 RBI...Named Midland College[apos]s team offensive MVP in 2006.
