2020 (FRESHMAN): Made two appearances on the mound in the shortened season … pitched 1.0 inning on February 15 at Florida, allowing no runs on no hits, striking out one Gator … made his home debut in 0.1 inning pitched on March 8 vs. Akron, where he struck out one hitter … named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.
High School: Attended and played baseball at Russell County High School for four years…was named a fourth-region senior all-star and first-team all-district in 2019… helped his high school record set team records for most hits and runs in a game.
Personal: Born June 8, 2000…son of John and Heather Dando…has a younger sister, Mia…lists his favorite athlete as Major League pitcher Walker Buehler…lists the Los Angeles Dodgers as his favorite professional sports team…enjoys hunting, fishing, riding dirtbikes and water sports in his free time.
