R-FRESHMAN SEASON (2024): Saw action in 10 games as a reserve defensive lineman for the Herd. Had 14 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, 1.0 sacks, a forced fumble and an INT this season. Top effort came against James Madison when he registered six tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in the OT win to give the Herd the East Division title. Also had two tackles and his first career INT at Southern Miss.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2023): Redshirted. Saw action in two games, but did not accumulate any stats.
HERD FILE: Born March 22, 2005 ... Majoring in Business and Marketing ... Was a three-sport All-State selection (football, basketball, track) at Riverside ... Parents are Ron and Angela Ward ... Father played pro basketball in Turkey.
