HERD FILE: Lewis returns to his hometown to play for Marshall after transferring from N.C. State where he played for Marshall head coach Tony Gibson. The former Cabell Midland standout played in four games, registering two tackles, including one tackle for loss for the Wolfpack. Prior to N.C. State, Lewis put up some amazing numbers while playing for the Knights and former Marshall offensive lineman Luke Salmons. As a senior, Lewis finished with 181 tackles with 18 tackles for loss, four sacks and three fumble recoveries – one of which he returned for a touchdown.
