GP/GS: 31/30… Joined Marshall as a transfer from SE MO State … Led the Herd in scoring (17.4 PPG)...Scored a career-best 540 points in 2023, making 205 field goals, including a game-winning shot in overtime against South Alabama on Dec. 29 … Finished in double figures in 29 of 31 games played, and finished with 20+ points in eight contests… Compiled a double double against Wright State on Dec. 9, scoring 10 points and grabbing a season-high 11 rebounds.
PRIOR TO MARSHALL: Appeared in 78 games across three seasons for Southeast Missouri State….team’s second leading scorer in 2021-22 with 10.8 points per game, averaged 4.3 rebounds per game as well in 21-22….scored 642 points as a freshman in 2019-20 with a career-high 25 against Belmont…had a career-best seven assists in a game against Eastern Illinois in 2021.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for coach Corey Garret at Earle HS…Was a four-year letterwinner ...Averaging 25.0 points, 5.0 assists, and 4.0 steals per game for career…All-State and All-Conference winner….2x State Champion
PERSONAL: Born December 19, 2000 in Earle, Arkansas...Parents are Lois and Gary Scott...Has four siblings, Gary Jr. Aaliyah, Cameron, and Carmalo Scott....Plans to major in Health Sciences and minor in Computer Information Technology...Chose Marshall because, "The coaching staff was welcoming, I loved the colors, and the team seems like great people to be around."
