Meet contested Friday and Saturday
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Marshall Track and Field is back in action this weekend, in what will be its fifth competition of the outdoor season. The 2019 Charlotte Invitational kicks off Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. Events will be held at the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center on the university's campus.
Last year's Charlotte 49er Classic saw Marshall record twelve top-10 finishes and a new school record in the pole vault.
MaryAnn Adebayo, Reneese Batson, Hasana Clark and Kylie Miles will be the first athletes to compete. They begin the hammer throw event at 3 p.m. Friday.
