Baseball Set for Pair of Mid-Week Matchups

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Herd baseball (23-20, 10-11 C-USA) will host the Morehead State Eagles on Tuesday in mid-week action at the Kennedy Center.

Wednesday, May 1, 3 p.m. vs. Morehead State

HAVE YOU HERD?
Marshall is eighth in triples with 19 three-baggers through games played on April 28, while ranking 39th with 87 doubles.

The Herd has a .458 slugging percentage and a .296 batting average which ranks 29th and 33rd, respectively.

Elvis Peralta, Jr., has a team-leading eight home runs and ranks second in RBI with 36.

Tucker Linder has reached base safely in 28 consecutive games and leads the team with 38 RBI.

Erik Rodriguez is tied for second in the nation in triples with seven after tying the program's single-season record in the category with a triple Saturday at UAB.

The Herd has five players with five or more home runs this season.
