Marshall to Host EKU at Kennedy Center on Wednesday

Herd took contest 8-3 over the Colonels last week
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University baseball team (9-4) welcomes the EKU Colonels (7-5) to the Kennedy Center on Wednesday. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.

Ryan Leitch drove in seven runs during the four-game set and hit a walk-off homer, his third long ball of the season, to give Marshall a 13-10 win in game three. The sophomore has a team-high 21 RBI and is tied with Kyle Schaefer with a team-best three home runs.

Jordon Billups has a .391 batting average and a .481 on-base percentage and Cole Williams has 20 hits to lead the Green and White.
