SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Marshall University baseball team (14-18, 4-10 Sun Belt) lost game two 6-0 in San Marcos, Texas, to the Texas State Bobcats (23-13, 8-6 Sun Belt) on Saturday afternoon.

Starting pitcher Raymond Pacella struck out six Bobcats in 5.0 innings of work allowing just two runs on two hits and four walks.
Â
Luke Edwards led off the game with a single for the second time in the series. Christian Lucio and Kebler Peralta also recorded base hits.
Â
Reliever Nicholas Weyrich threw 1.2 scoreless innings, striking out one and allowing two hits.
