HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Baseball team (11-9) closes out a four-game road trip with a midweek game against the EKU Colonels (2-17) in Richmond, Kentucky, on Tuesday.

PRE-GAME NOTES

The Herd fell in its series over the weekend on the road to the Arkansas State Red Wolves.
Griffin Miller earned his third win of the season with complete game on Saturday.
With four triples, shortstop Maika Niu is tied for the Sun Belt lead and tied for fourth in the nation at four triples.
Niu and AJ Havrilla each have seven doubles this season, tied for eighth in the SBC.
Slated for his fifth appearance and third start of the season, Luke Proehl has eight strikeouts in 7.2 innings with a 3.52 ERA.

ABOUT THE COLONELS

EKU is coming off a series win over Bellarmine this weekend in Richmond.
The Colonels are in the midst of an eight-game homestand.
Probable starter Elijah Underwood has thrown 9.1 innings across five appearances, three starts, with 22 runs allowed and 10 strikeouts.
With 12 RBI and five homers, Julius Scearce leads EKU with starts in all 19 of the team's contests.
